For new clients, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to complete all necessary paperwork. If you are running late, we ask you to please call the studio so that we can prepare this in advance. We advise that you avoid the use of sunless tanning products on the face, neck and décolletage for seven days before your appointment. Please also make a note of the details of your current home regime, your skin concerns and any recent peels, laser or corrective treatments, eyebrow tattooing, injectables and waxing that you may have recently carried out in the weeks prior to your appointment.
To obtain your preferred appointment day and time, we ask that you book well in advance. We will always do our best to accommodate your schedule, however, in instances where we cannot, we can add you to our priority list, which is checked daily if cancellations occur. To secure your appointment, we do require a booking deposit, which can be used as a partial or full prepayment for your treatment on the day.
We will send you a text message confirming your appointment 48-72 hours beforehand, in which we will ask you to respond with a simple YES or NO. If an appointment remains unconfirmed, or if you are absent at the time of your appointment, your booking deposit will be forfeited. The same policy applies to cancellations 24-hours before. No cancellations or changes allowed within 24 hours of the appointment. Please advise of changes or cancellations to the reservation 24 hours prior to your reservation via text/phone to 336-909-8711 or email to care@racheljoyceskin.com. Respectfully, late cancellations and changes incur a 50% charge of the appointment fee. No-shows/ No-calls incur the full appointment fee. If unforeseen circumstances force you to reschedule your appointment at short notice, please contact the studio to reschedule.
Education in technological and clinical advancements informs everything we do. As such we are constantly finessing and adapting our treatments. As such, our treatment menu may be modified in order to provide best practice in skin health and improvement. Treatment pricing is also subject to change.
Gift certificates may be purchased in either a physical or digital form and allocated to a particular treatment or a monetary value — the choice is at your discretion. Gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the time of purchase. We do offer a complimentary gift wrapping service and are more than happy to have your voucher express mailed to the recipient should you wish to do so.
